Dr. Alireza Sharifzadeh grew up in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alberta before pursuing his Doctorate of Optometry at the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University in Fullerton, California.
His clinical training took him to a variety of respected institutions, including OC Retina, Coastal Vision, VA Southern Nevada Health Care, the University Eye Center Los Angeles, Los Angeles Christian Health Centers, and Ketchum Health Medical Clinic. This diverse training gave him hands-on experience across retinal disease, primary care optometry, ocular disease management, and care for underserved populations.
Bringing a unique perspective to eye care, he blends his engineering background with his clinical training to approach each patient’s vision with both technical precision and genuine care.
