Dr. Zucker, originally from Baltimore, MD, grew up in Scottsdale, AZ. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from Arizona State University before pursuing his Doctorate of Optometry at The Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. During his time at the Illinois College of Optometry, Dr. Zucker was an active member of the American Optometric Association (AOA), serving as the Political Action Committee (PAC) Liaison for his school. In this role, he traveled to Washington, D.C., to advocate for patients’ access to quality eye care.
Dr. Zucker completed extensive training and internships at various optometric facilities, including The Illinois Eye Institute (Chicago, IL), The Aleda E. Lutz Veterans Affairs Medical Center (Saginaw, MI), Omni Eye Services (Atlanta, GA), and Daniel and Davis Optometry (Carlsbad, CA). He began his career practicing optometry in Southern Vermont before moving to Santa Barbara in 2015, where he continues to provide exceptional eye care to the community.

Dr. Zucker is proud to call Santa Barbara his home. And when he’s not in the office, you’ll find him active and outdoors throughout the year. He takes pleasure in playing soccer and other outdoor sports and activities all year.
